GARTENDEK artificial stones are designed to do two things at once: create a natural stone landscape and eliminate the visual noise of technical infrastructure.

More than half of GARTENDEK stones are purchased for decorative landscaping — along pathways, beside a pond, within a flower bed. Larger formats create full-scale compositions with boulders that look like real rock — but without the installation challenges, cost, or permanence of natural stone.

The key advantage is flexibility. A GARTENDEK stone is 15–20 times lighter than a natural boulder of comparable size. You can reposition it, adjust your layout, or rethink your landscape as your garden evolves — the way you rearrange furniture indoors. No machinery, no additional help.

Each stone is a hollow multi-layer composite: marine-grade ISO/NPG gelcoat on the outside, fiberglass-reinforced frame inside, natural marble chips on the surface. The look and feel are identical to real stone. All models are rated for year-round outdoor use: −30 to +60 °C, load capacity from 100 kg, service life over 10 years with no seasonal maintenance.

The material is chemically inert — it does not interact with soil, does not leach substances into groundwater, and is safe for plants, pollinators, and soil fauna. Stones can be placed directly next to vegetable beds, fruit bushes, or kitchen gardens without any restrictions.

The second common use case is concealing utility infrastructure: septic hatches, well casings, junction boxes, ventilation outlets. The stone is placed on top, turning a technical zone into a natural part of the landscape.

The range spans five size categories — from compact S-series models to large-format XXXL stones over 170 cm in length. Customisation is available: colour, texture, surface finish, structural reinforcement, and technical modifications — including built-in openings for drainage or cable routing.

Every stone ships in an individual wooden crate, ready for courier delivery across the EU. All products are designed and manufactured in the EU under GARTENDEK quality control.
