Many garden utilities are installed flush with the ground: manhole covers, drainage grates, low stumps, meter lids, cable entries, and flat valve boxes. These elements are often wide (up to ø 42 cm), but rise only up to approximately 15 cm above the surface.

Standard cover stones are too tall: S-01 is 23 cm, S-03 is 46 cm. Placed over a flat lid, they create an obvious hump that attracts attention instead of concealing the object.

Solution: an ultra-flat stone profile that sits into the landscape

S-06 solves this with a height of only 19 cm — the lowest profile in the entire S-series. Its wide, flat form (56 × 51 cm) spreads the visual mass horizontally, reproducing the look of a natural field stone settled into the soil.

Result: a stone that does not sit on the lawn — it sits in the landscape. For flush ground-level objects, this is the only proportional solution in the GARTENDEK range.

Shape positioning. S-06 belongs to the round field-boulder family (Group B: S-03, S-06) — soft, water-smoothed silhouettes, unlike the angular sharp-ridge Group A models. Within Group B and across sizes, S-06 has a special role: the smallest round boulder in the entire lineup — an ultra-flat, disc-like field stone that sits in the landscape rather than on it. It naturally pairs with the taller round dome S-03 (closest Group B partner), with the universal round boulder M-01, with round field-boulder L-02, and with XL-04 as the XL-size member of the same round family. Installation and equipment access

No tools. No foundation. No site preparation.

1. Place S-06 over the target object on any surface — lawn, soil, gravel, paving.
2. On soft ground, press the wide base (56 × 51 cm) slightly into the surface for stability.
3. Rotate the stone a few degrees to achieve the most natural visual alignment.

Installation time: under 1 minute.

Access to equipment: lift the stone with one hand (6 kg), perform maintenance, and place it back. The low center of gravity and broad base provide excellent wind stability — no anchoring is required.

Note: this is a handmade product. Color and size variations up to 3–5 cm are normal and part of the natural look.

Safety and limitations: the product supports static loads of 100+ kg under normal use. The stone is not a load-bearing structure, not intended for impact loads, and not designed for jumping or active play scenarios without prior engineering adaptation. Use in children's and public zones is possible only with a predefined usage scenario, structural adaptation, and coordinated safety requirements with the customer.

Multi-layer fiberglass composite with marble gelcoat

S-06 is made from a multi-layer fiberglass composite — the same material class used in marine construction. The outer layer is natural marble chips and marble powder in an ISO/NPG class gelcoat.

The color is not painted on — it is created by mixing natural stone chips and mineral powder directly into the gelcoat compound. Color is an integral part of the material. Available in two variants: Gray and Red.

At a viewing distance of 1 meter, S-06 is visually indistinguishable from a natural granite field stone.

The warranty does not cover:

• mechanical damage;
• cosmetic changes (natural gelcoat matting, minor degradation of the outer layer due to UV exposure);
• exposure to aggressive chemicals;
• use outside intended purpose;
• modifications not agreed with GARTENDEK.

The warranty applies in addition to the consumer's statutory rights in the EU.
