Central Cone Gravity Watering System
The 5+1 uses a passive gravity-fed watering system — no electricity required:
- Fill the top reservoir with water (~5 litres)
- Open the T-valve — water flows through the central cone of each tier
- The cone distributes water evenly around the circumference of each tier
- Excess water drains down through each tier to the next
- The process repeats through all 5 tiers
- Remaining water collects in the base tray for reuse
The T-valve has a metal locking clip and positions from 0 (closed) to 5 (full flow). Position 1 = slow drip dosing; position 5 = rapid fill. With 5 tiers, a second watering pass may be needed to fully saturate the lowest tier.
