Why we built the GARTENDEK system

The idea of growing food at home is strong by itself, but the execution often fails because people do not want twenty separate pots, constant checking, spilled water and another household burden. That is why the focus was on building a system that respects both the plant and the person.

The GARTENDEK Plant Tower 5+1 is a compact vertical growing system with a footprint of about 40 × 40 cm and the capacity to grow up to 20 plants at once.

Instead of relying on a more complex setup, the system works through a simple top-down watering principle: water is added to the upper level and then gradually flows downward through the tower under natural gravity.

A manual T-valve helps you control the flow intensity (from closed to full flow), which keeps the process stable, practical and predictable in everyday use.
